1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Minifigure Stock Exchange platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Marketplace Transactions

The platform facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when buying or selling items.

• Accurate Listings: Sellers must accurately describe the condition, completeness, and any defects of items listed for sale.
• Offers: Buyers may make offers below the listed price. Sellers are under no obligation to accept any offer.
• Item Condition: Items must match the listed condition (Mint, Very Good, Good, Fair). Misrepresenting condition may result in disputes and account penalties.
• Cancellations: Orders may only be cancelled before the seller marks the item as shipped. Once shipped, the escrow process must be completed.

4. Trade Center Rules

The Trade Center allows users to exchange minifigures directly with other collectors. By participating in trades, you agree to the following:

• Eligibility: Only minifigures marked 'For Trade' in your collection may be offered in trade exchanges.
• Trade Agreement: Once both parties confirm a trade, both are obligated to ship their agreed items within 5 business days.
• Disputes: Trade disputes should be reported within 7 days of the agreed delivery date. The platform will review evidence from both parties.
• Shipping: Each party is responsible for the shipping costs of the item they send. Tracking numbers must be shared through the platform.
• Fair Value: Trades must be of comparable value based on current BrickLink market prices. Grossly unequal trades may be flagged.

4. Fees and Payments

Transaction fees apply to marketplace sales as outlined in our fee schedule. Premium subscriptions are billed according to the selected plan. All payments are processed securely through our payment providers.

Fees are deducted automatically from the sale amount before funds are released to the seller. Rates are subject to change with notice.

🔒 Escrow & Payment Protection

Minifigure Stock Exchange uses a centralised escrow system to protect both buyers and sellers in every transaction.

• Payment held in escrow: When a buyer completes checkout, funds are held securely by the platform and are not released to the seller immediately.
• Seller ships first: The seller must ship the item and provide a tracking number to mark the order as Shipped.
• Buyer confirms receipt: Once the buyer receives the item and confirms receipt in the Orders page, the held funds are released to the seller.
• Buyer protection: If an item does not arrive or is significantly not as described, buyers should open a dispute before confirming receipt. Funds will remain held during any active dispute.
• Auto-release: If a buyer does not confirm receipt or raise a dispute within 14 days of the tracking showing delivery, funds may be automatically released to the seller.
• Non-confirmation: Confirming receipt is final and cannot be reversed. Do not confirm receipt until you are satisfied with the item.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in fraudulent activities, sell counterfeit items, manipulate prices, harass other users, or violate intellectual property rights. Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

• Engaging in fraudulent activities or impersonating other users
• Selling counterfeit, replica, or non-genuine LEGO minifigures
• Manipulating prices, views, or ratings artificially
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
• Violating intellectual property rights, including LEGO® and BrickLink® trademarks

6. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided 'as is' without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
